Alaskan Racing huskies are the dogs of choice at Continental Divide Kennels. Each dog is individually cared for and trained to be an endurance athlete. Our dogs come from the finest bloodlines and have competed in most of the top endurance races in North America. Our Huskies are bred and trained for speed, endurance, appetite, attitude, appetite, good feet and disposition. Our tour teams are made up of budding athletes, retired race veterans, and current powerhouses. The health and well-being of our dogs is always top priority.
Lead guide, Billy Snodgrass is a third generation Wyoming native and has been a Wyoming outfitter for 23 years. He and his two daughters Mati and Gusi, live in the mountains North West of Dubois Wyoming in a log home surrounded by sled dogs. The Snodgrass family has been featured in Pets Part of the Family -TV show, and on The Great Outdoorsman TV show. Billy has also been featured in AT&T television ads and in 1998 Discovery Online followed Billy through his first Iditarod Dog Sled Race. Billy has also been awarded the Best cared for team award and The Sportsmanship award.
Weather permitting, tours start at the end of November and run into April. From mid-December through March, one and two night trips can be arranged on request. |
