- How to Calculate Travel Insurance:
- Calculate your total trip cost. (You can choose to cover all or part of your trip. For example, you can cover just lodging, just airfare, or both. Airfare can only be covered if you purchase a policy within 15 days from your original purchase date.)
- Take your total trip cost and divide it by the number of travelers you want insured. This is your "Trip Cost" per Traveler.
